Facebook Ad Creatives That Convert
Your ad creative is the single biggest factor in campaign performance. Here's how to create ads that stop the scroll and drive action.
The Hook
You have 1-2 seconds to grab attention. Start with a bold statement, surprising statistic, or relatable problem. "90% of small businesses overpay for web design" is more compelling than "We offer affordable web design."
The Story
After the hook, tell a mini-story: problem → solution → result. Keep it concise. Show the transformation your product or service delivers.
The CTA
Tell people exactly what to do next. "Book your free consultation" is better than "Learn more." Match the CTA to the audience temperature — cold audiences need softer CTAs than warm retargeting audiences.
Creative Formats That Work
1. UGC testimonial videos (customers sharing their experience)
2. Before/after comparisons
3. Product demonstration videos
4. Carousel of benefits or features
5. Static images with bold text overlay
Testing Framework
Test 3-5 creative variations per campaign. Change one variable at a time (headline, image, or CTA). Let each variation get at least 1,000 impressions before judging. Scale the winners, cut the losers.
